Overcome your fear of showing up online

Are you holding back on showing up online?

Procrastinating on it?

Letting fear of perfection getting in the way?

Telling yourself you’re just not an “online” person?

Cause in person you find it so easy to connect with people?

I’ve had so many conversations about this lately…

That I decided to do a spontaneous video on it…

The irony was some of the exact fears and challenges I was gonna discuss came up…

Wait I’m not prepared for this video…

I have no make up on and my hair is a mess…

Is this video gonna fit in with the rest of my content?

Should I just wait and do it tomorrow?

As I caught myself thinking this stuff I was like:

Oh hell yes this is exactly why I need to do this video right now!

See for me the biggest thing that will hold me back from showing up online are my fears…

I indulge in things like comparing myself to others…

Perfectionism and fearing judgment from others…or myself!

But all I’m doing here really is getting stuck in my own head…

And I’ve found the easiest way out of there is focusing on helping others!

If just one person finds this video helpful I’ve been of service

I’ve made a contribution and added some joy into someone’s life!

So for me these 2 practices have been incredibly impacting when it comes to showing up online…

And speaking in my own voice:

  1. Continuous work on accepting and loving myself

And I mean all of it!

Especially all the insecurities and things I want to hide from everyone!

Now don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to go out and share with everyone your darkest deepest secrets…I don’t either

But I have found that the more I’ve accepted and shared my insecurities…

The more they disappear from my life…

Kinda ironic right

  1. Showing up…even when I don’t feel ready

ACTION CURES FEAR

I have been putting videos and content out for the last 4 years.

The me 4 years ago still had a s*** tone of insecurities, no idea of where she was heading or doing with her life and quite frankly all over the shop

But the one thing I did…very imperfectly is just continuously showed up, pushed myself beyond my comfort zone and took ACTION

It’s in doing that we learn and grow the most…and there really is no wrong or right way of doing it!

Just do anything…

Go with your gut…

Have fun…

And trust me it gets easier and more fun the more you do it!
